When prioritizing features I came up with a formula I’d like to share with you. It's rather simple so im gonna keep it short:
When comming up with the formula I asked myself the following questions:
1. how many people want the feature? - votes on a feature
2. how valuable are these people? - MRR
3. how urgently do those people need it? - have them self identify the urgency on a given feature request
To get a number, on which you can prioritise features you simply add the MRR of all customers who voted on a certain feature and multiply it with the urgency factor on a certain feature.
(VoterMRR + VoterMRR) * urgencyFactor = value of a feature
Now you have a subjective number you can prioritize your features on. That’s how we at FeatureHunter prioritise customer feedback.
